3 Winners From The Trade Deadline

1.Phillies-Hunter Pence RF,-The Phillies got their man and got him without giving up OF prospect Domionic Brown or RHP Vance Worley. They did have to get up thieir top 2 prospect in the minors in 1B Jonathon Singleton and pitcher Jared Cosart but it may be well worth it if they win a World Series this season. The other big thing is that Hunter Pence is under team control for the next 2 seasons after this one.
2.Rangers-Koji Uehara P, Mike Adams P,-The Rangers turned a need into a strength with the aqustions of Uehara and Adams two great relief pitchers. The Orioles got back SP Tommy Hunter and 1B Chris Davis and the Padres got two SP prospects who many think can be up in the majors next season in Robbie Erlin and Joe Wieland.
3.Mets- Zach Wheeler P, The Mets did not gain anybody in their trades but they did in what they lost they gained in trading pitcher Fransico Rodriguez and OF Carlos Beltran traded a lot money off their team and they are a team who needed salary relief.
