Eagles Day Three Draft Roundup
Round 4 Pick 105-Trevor Lindley CB Kentucky- He is a player that plays with confidence and can become a play maker with the Eagles but does lack top end speed.
Round 4 Pick 121 Keenan Clayton LB Oklahoma- He is a converted SAM linebacker after playing at safety.
Round 4 Pick 122 Mike Kafka QB Northwestern- Kafka does not possess the strongest arm and he will be looking to make the transition from a spread shotgun offense to a pro style scheme and he is very mobile. He will be project and a potential backup to Kevin Kolb
Round 4 Pick 125 Clay Harbor TE Missouri State- Harbor is from a small school so there are some questions about the teams he has faced. Harbor has good hands and will probably be used as a pass catching TE to help out Brent Celek they also have last year's draft pick from Florida Cornelius Ingram.
Round 5 Pick 134 Ricky Sapp DE Clemson- could be one of the biggest steals of the NFL Draft as he was suppose to go in round 2-3 but a knee injury dropped him the draft. Sapp is athletic and quick. Sapp needs so refining but has an huge upside.
Round 5 Pick 159 Riley Cooper WR Florida- I think he is the steal of the Eagles draft. He is an tall WR as he is 6'3. Cooper has great hands and will be an weapon in the red zone. The Eagles have not used the fade route in the end zone but with Riley Cooper now in the mix they should use it more often.
Round 6 Pick 200 Charles Scott RB LSU- Scott is a big bruising back that can move the pile. He does catch the ball out of the backfield and has good hands. Scott could be the short yardage back the Eagles have been looking for.
Round 7 Pick 220 Jamar Chaney LB Mississippi- he has great closing speed and a excellent fit for the Eagles. While he plays 100 mph, its in the wrong direction too often. He also has sub-par instincts.
Round 7 Pick 243 Jeff Owens DT Georgia- has some injury problems but could anchor an defensive tackle position that needs depth.
Round 7 Kurt Coleman DB Ohio State- he has a big upside and could be a safety or a cornerback compared to a Ed Reed type player. Coleman can matchup man to man if need be. Kurt is a bit undersized but has strong overall athleticism.
So overall I give the Eagles 13 picks a A overall grade as the filled needs and got much needed depth, they got the DE and S they wanted. Also Riley Cooper and Charles Scott could be gems.

Eagles Second Day Roundup
With the 37th pick in the 2010 pick the Eagles select Nate Allen safety from the University of South Florida. Nate Allen is a great pick here for the Eagles as he is a versitle safety.Allen has been an great safety for the Bulls. He has great athletic ability and great size. His one weakness might be that he is not a great physical tackler and needs to finish better at the next level. He has great quickness. He shows good range in pursuit but needs to be more consistent taking angles to the ball. He re-routes receivers as he has long arms and is technique sound in combination man and zone coverages. Allen can beat a great player for the Eagles as they needed a safety in this year's draft as they needed to replace Brian Dawkins and Macho Harris was not cutting it.
Then the Eagles did alot of trading of picks dealing the 55th overall pick to Dallas in exchange for the 59th overall pick and a fourth rounder, No. 125 overall then they moved down again, sending No. 59 to the Browns in exchange for No. 71, 131 and 146. By adding the 71st pick, the Eagles get into the third round then they traded And then they traded down once again, sending No. 71 to the Packers for 83 in the third round and No. 122. So they now have 10 picks in day 3 in round 4 the 105, 121, 122, 125 picks, along with 134 and 146 in the fifth, 200 in the sixth and 243 and 244 in the seventh.
The Eagles then finally selected with the 83rd pick in the draft they selected Daniel Te'o-Nesheim DE out of the University of Washington. Te'o-Nesheim is known for his intensity his toughness and he is a very good leader, some things alot of NFL teams covet in players. He did set the all-time leader in sacks at Washington with 30.5 sacks in his career including 11 in his senior year.

What a Great Sunday to Be an Philly Sports Fan!
Then we had the Flyers who needed an win vs the Rangers to get into the playoffs if they lost the Rangers will be go into the Playoffs. The Rangers had an 1-0 lead in the third when Matt Carle had the game tying goal. The game went into overtime and then a shootout, Daniel Briere scored on the first shot for the Flyers then Erik Christensen of the Rangers was stopped by Flyers goalie Brain Boucher, Mike Richards missed the Flyers second shot and then the Rangers P.A. Parenteau scored to tie the shootout at one apiece after two shooters. Claude Giroux then made a wonderful shot and grabbed the lead. So it was up to Olli Jokinen vs Brian Boucher if Boucher stopped the puck from going in the Flyers were going into the playoffs and HE DID! The Flyers are in the playoffs as they will face off against the NJ Devils.

West Coast View on McNabb
The Donovan McNabb-to-the-Raiders story is built on hushed whispers given in confidence, with Yahoo Sports! (Charles Robinson) and ESPN (Adam Schefter) leading the way with unnamed sources saying the Raiders are the leaders in the clubhouse for the Eagles’ quarterback and equally anonymous Raiders sources telling Steve Corkran there has been no contact between the teams.
A few possible scenarios:
A) Someone in McNabb’s camp is floating the Raiders as a primary suitor, knowing full well there will be no on-the-record public denial that comes from teams that actually deal with the media. It’s no accident the Raiders so often come up in free agency stories as an interested party _ and often are not.
This is perfect for the Eagles, who want the market to be rich with McNabb suitors and when asked about the Raiders interest, won’t say anything on the record but give a knowing nod and wink.
B) Al Davis wants McNabb and has explored the possibility, but has commissioned the Raiders denials as a way to drive down the Eagles asking price.
Let McNabb and his $11.2 million due bill this season marinate for awhile on the open market. As the draft approaches, and there are no other teams willing to cough up that kind of coin for a 2011 free agent, Davis could get himself a starting quarterback and not have to give up the No. 39 pick in the draft.
C) Davis’ inner circle is so tight that it’s possible for club employees to deny the story because they truly know nothing about it, and they’ve seen enough rumors come and go that never come to fruition to be comfortable in that assessment.
That leaves the possibility that both sides are right _ Davis is talking to the Eagles about McNabb and is the front-runner to land him, while the Raiders will have people in their own building who will be surprised when it actually happens.
