The game went into overtime and then a shootout, Daniel Briere scored on the first shot for the Flyers then Erik Christensen of the Rangers was stopped by Flyers goalie Brain Boucher, Mike Richards missed the Flyers second shot and then the Rangers P.A. Parenteau scored to tie the shootout at one apiece after two shooters. Claude Giroux then made a wonderful shot and grabbed the lead. So it was up to Olli Jokinen vs Brian Boucher if Boucher stopped the puck from going in the Flyers were going into the playoffs and HE DID! The Flyers are in the playoffs as they will face off against the NJ Devils.
