Jamie Moyer has become the oldest pitcher to throw a CG shutout. Jamie did it tonight versus the Braves he gave up 2 hits and had no walks and had 5 strikeouts. The Phillies won the game 7-0 with help from Jayson Werth who hit his second 3 run homerun in the last 2 days. Phil Nierko was the previous record at 46 years old in 1985 the oldest non-knuckleballer was Satchel Page at 46 in 1952. Great night for Jamie.
