Phillies rightfielder Jayson Werth was named National League Player of The Week for the week ending May 9th. Werth socked 4 HR's, including the 100th of his career, tallied 9 RBIs and sported a 1.407 OPS the Phillies took 2 of 3 from the Mets, 3 of 4 from the Cardinals and 2 of 3 from the Braves as Jayson won the Player of The Week honor.
